PRINT AD MATERIAL

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
Please upload ad material as a PDF file on this site – see ‘Uploading ad material’ for instructions.
The following requirements must be fulfilled:
Formatting: PDF files must have the correct format (to border) as well as trim marks. Half-page and quarter-page advertisements must fit the magazine format. Double-page advertisements must be submitted as two full pages. Regarding double page ads, the image must be located 2 mm from the spine on each side for spine compensation. All formats are bleed. Text, logos etc. must be placed at least 9 mm from cropping edge. Images and colours: All grey-tone and 4-colour images must have a minimum image resolution of 300 DPi. Bitmap images must have a minimum image resolution of 600 DPi. Images may be JPEG-compressed in highest quality. All images and colours in the advertisement must be defined in CMYK with a maximum total density of 310% for heatset rotation and 340% for sheet printing (no spot colour). To achieve optimum colour fidelity, the Bonnier Publications ICC profile must be used. It can be found at: www.bonnierpublications.com under Ad material/Technical specifications.
Typefaces: All fonts used in the document, logos, EPS files etc. must be included in the final PDF file.
Print quality: To ensure correct reproduction, Bonnier Publications must receive a colour proof of the advertisement by the deadline, otherwise all rights of complaint lapse. Bonnier Publications assumes no liability for any minor deviations in colour reproduction.

ADVERTISING CONTROL
Advertisements of an editorial nature will be given the label ‘Annonce’ (Advertisement) in the top corner. Bonnier Publications reserves the right to refuse undesirable advertisements.

ERRORS
There shall be no reduction in advertising rate in cases of errors where Bonnier Publications is not liable. Bonnier Publications assumes no liability for possible errors in material that has not been submitted by the deadline.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations of booked advertising space must be received by Bonnier Publications one week before the order date, at the latest! The validity of the cancellation is subject to written confirmation by Bonnier Publications.

APPENDIX SHEET
One appendix sheet for each inserted advertisement must be attached to the invoice. Additional appendix sheets are debited.

DEBITING
Advertisements are debited according to the rates in force on the day of insertion. In order to obtain the discounts stated, every advertisement booked must be inserted. Any invoiced discounts are post-debited in case of deviations.

REIMBURSEMENTS
Print: 1.5% information reimbursement, 1% for receipt of collateral or pre-payment.

INSERTS

There are many options for inserts in Bonnier Publications magazines: loose, bound-in, glued-in, stick-on and samples (loose or stick-on). The rates are based on the weight of the insert, with a minimum of 10 g. The price of the insert is subject to the circulation size. Postage is always added to the subscription portion of the circulation in accordance with the postal service rates.

ONLINE AD MATERIAL

Ad material must comply with the Association of Danish Interactive Media’s (FDIM) specifications for ad material. They can be found in Danish at www.fdim.dk under ‘aftaler og annonceformater’ (agreements and ad formats). All material must be submitted by email to: adon@bonnier.dk.

REIMBURSEMENTS
Online: 4% for technical compliance, 2% information reimbursement, 1% for receipt of collateral.

GUARANTEE – ONLINE
There is no performance guarantee for exposures or permissions. The amount is credited comparatively for any subsupply.

PROVISIONS REGARDING VENUE
Any disputes shall be handled in accordance with Danish legislation. Any legal proceedings that may arise as a result of the present contractual relationship must always be instituted in the Copenhagen District Court regardless of the amount involved. These provisions regarding venue are valid irrespective of the standard provisions regarding venue stated in the Danish Administration of Justice Act.

DISCOUNTS

REVENUE DISCOUNT
Advertisers who advertise for more than DKK 300,000 (net) may conclude a written revenue agreement, which means that the advertiser can obtain a fixed discount percentage in Bonnier Publications magazines within a 12-month period. Any advertising on Bonnier Publications A/S’s internet media shall be included in a revenue agreement.

QUANTITY DISCOUNT
The advertiser is free to choose between all Bonnier Publications magazines and obtain a quantity discount in relation to the number of insertions within a 12-month period. For varying formats, the discount is calculated based on the smallest format. 6-7 insertions: 12%. 8-11 insertions: 16%. 12 or more insertions: 22%.

NEWBIZZ DISCOUNT
Advertisers who have not inserted advertisements in Bonnier Publications magazines within the past 24 months can obtain a 33% newbizz discount on the first four insertions. The newbizz discount also applies to our Internet media, but not to guide advertisements.

BONNIER’S MEDIA PACKAGE
Bonnier’s Media Package comprises every magazine published in Denmark by Bonnier Publications A/S. The package allows the advertiser to choose the most appropriate magazines and obtain cash benefits at the same time. In order to obtain the discount, the advertiser must use three or more Bonnier Publications magazines for the same brand name product within a limited period of three months. The advertiser may vary the message from magazine to magazine. The discount applies to Bonnier Publications magazines and supplements.
Discount scale:
3 magazines: 3%. 4 magazines: 4%. 5 or more magazines: 5%.
If you select Bonnier’s Media Package in 2010, you will obtain the above package discount + a quantity discount or revenue discount. The package discount is applied to the total gross fee for the magazines included in the package, after which the revenue or quantity discount is then deducted.
50% EXTRA BONUS
Three and six insertions in the same magazine within the same year qualify the advertiser for one or two bonus advertisements, respectively, at a 50% discount. The bonus advertisements must be inserted in the following issues:
Bo Bedre, BoligPlus, Penge & Privatøkonomi, Aktiv Træning: issue no. 8 or 1. National Geographic: issue no. 7 or 12. Gør Det Selv, Digital Foto, Illustreret Videnskab, Komputer for alle, I Form, Historie: issue no. 11 or 1.

FACTS ABOUT BONNIER DISCOUNTS
• Concluded revenue, quantity or newbizz agreements apply to Bonnier Publications magazines and Internet media.
• The advertiser may vary the message from magazine to magazine and still obtain the discount.
• Revenue, quantity, newbizz and introduction discounts, as well as the 50% extra bonus, are non-combinable.
• There is a maximum discount of 50% per insertion.
• The insertions must take place within a 12-month period.
• The discounts obtained are deducted on each individual invoice.
• Corporations in which the parent company owns more than 50% of a subsidiary may conclude joint revenue agreements.
• A discount agreement is not transferable to another company.
• Any invoiced discounts are post-debited in case of deviations in relation to the agreed discount.
